<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of codes by executing a filter processing to a difference data and emphasizing a high-pass area component in respect to a low-pass area component. CONSTITUTION:Data in the blocks of areas in a part of two pictures having the same size are compared with each other and from the correlative value, correlation is decided in a block matching deciding device. In this device, a difference calculating means 51 is provided to calculate difference between the data of both picture blocks, and a filter processing means 71 is provided to execute the filter processing to the output of the difference calculating means 51 so as to emphasize the high-pass area component in comparison with the low-pass area component. Thus, predictive error can be encoded with the small amount of codes.</p> |
