Micro dust or so-called respirable dust in the room air in pig stables is dangerous for the health of the animals, but the known methods of combating this dust have been inefficient or have had other serious drawbacks. According to the invention the combating is effected in a simple, cheap and suitable manner by injecting into the room air, at a high level in the stable, an atomized aqueous solution of sodium chloride, the ions of which stick to the micro dust, which is thereby precipitated. The sodium chloride precipitated at the floor attracts dust during a relatively long period of time, such that it is sufficient to inject the solution through 5-10 seconds e.g. 10-15 times per 24 hours. The associated system is very cheap, as all what is required is a system of nozzles in connection with a hose e.g. from a supply tank connected with a source of pressurized air. |
