This device is of the type comprising a stirrup piece (5) whose central part is articulated on a spindle transverse to the ski and whose branches (6) are shaped in order to permit the nesting of a complementary part provided at the front end of the shoe, this stirrup piece also being equipped with means for immobilising the front end of the shoe. �<??>According to the invention, these immobilisation means consist:� - of a locking lever (14) mounted pivotably on the stirrup piece about a spindle (12) transverse to the ski,� - of a trigger release device (19) mounted pivotably on the locking lever (14) about a spindle transverse to the ski, comprising two fingers (20) coming into contact with the front edges of the stirrup piece, forming ramps for controlling the position of the lever,� - and of elastic means (25), arranged between the stirrup piece (5) and the lever (14) and acting on the latter in a closure direction, according to a plane passing substantially through the axis of articulation of the trigger release device on the lever and on either side of which are located the contact points between the trigger release device and the stirrup piece, respectively in an opening position and in a closure position. �<IMAGE>� |
