<p>PURPOSE:To automatically and efficiently change over a reduction gear by driving a clutch device according to signals of a change lever position sensor of the reduction gear and an acceleration sensor of an engine to provide a mechanism for turning on and off the engine and reduction gear. CONSTITUTION:When a change lever of a reduction gear 19 is set to 'low', a sensor works for detection, and when an accelerator pedal is pedalled to increase the rotational frequency of an engine, an accelerator and idling sensors work to close electromagnetic valves 40, 48 and open an electromagnetic valve 41 so that a piston 38 is pushed to turn on a hydraulic clutch 18. Thus, engaging pinion bevel gears 13, 14 are locked to be rotated integral with each other, so that an input shaft 25 is rotated with the rotational frequency of a ring gear 5 to rotate an output shaft 57 with a predetermined reduction gear ratio. When the reduction gear 19 is set to a second gear, the change lever is once separated from the low position, the sensor is turned off and the hydraulic clutch 18 is once turned off so that the change lever can be shifted to the second position without any troubles.</p> |
