<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of a microcrack occurring in a terminal part of trimming and to enable realization of highly precise trimming by conducting hook-shaped or U-shaped trimming instead of L-shaped one. CONSTITUTION:First, hool-shaped trimming is conducted, starting from a place (b) at about 1/4 of a resistor 2. In succession, L-shaped trimming is conducted from a position (c) of the terminal part of the hook-shaped trimming. Next, linear trimming is executed from the outside (a) of the hook-shaped trimming. In the case of the hook-shaped trimming, the effect of a microcrack can be made very small, since the terminal part thereof is off from a current channel. By making the second L-shaped trimming smaller than the hook-shaped trimming, besides, the effect of the microcrack in the terminal part of the L-shaped trimming can be reduced to be small and, at the same time, the precision of the second trimming can be increased. By conducting the last linear trimming in a smaller scale than the one of the hook-shaped trimming, moreover, final fine adjustment can be executed with increased precision.</p> |
