PURPOSE:To obtain the subject liquid pigment having good compatibility with polyamides and high productivity by using a liquid polyester and/or a liquid polyether ester having a specific hydroxyl value as a pigment-dispersing agent and dispersing a pigment with the agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective liquid pigment suitable for the production of mass-colored yarns having various colors and sufficiently high spinning stability can be produced by using a liquid polyester and/or liquid polyether ester having an OH value of 30-120mgKOH/g as a pigment-dispersing agent, adding the agent to a pigment such as azo pigment and carbon black and dispersing the pigment. The number-average molecular weight of the pigment-dispersing agent is preferably 1,000-8,000 and the amount of the pigment-dispersing agent is preferably 30-3,000 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the pigment. |
