GAS ELECTRIC DISCHARGE PANEL

PURPOSE:To form an auxiliary anode terminal using a simple method e.g. thick film printing method in the direction in which an auxiliary anode is extended by forming the auxiliary anode on a face opposite to a translucent face plate in a spacer forming an auxiliary discharge space. CONSTITUTION:A cathode terminal 21 is provided on an insulating substrate 1. An anode terminal 17 is formed on a spacer 10 and an auxiliary anode terminal 19 is formed on a spacer 23. In an auxiliary discharge space 14 auxiliary discharge takes place between an auxiliary anode 13 and a barium cathode 6 both provided on a face opposite to a translucent face plate 7. The area of a cathode is thus secured, providing stable discharge characteristic of a gas electric discharge panel. Therefore manual work in the process of paneling is omitted, enabling the process to be simplified and reliability of the panel to be enhanced.
