PURPOSE:To give functionality to the surface of flat base material plate, which is simultaneously drawn into a three-dimensional form by a method wherein a functionality given sheet is pasted to the surface of the base material by deforming the functionality given sheet and the base material parallel with the form of a backing jig under the condition that the space on base material side is evacuated and the space on the opposite side is pressurized. CONSTITUTION:A jig 8 is arranged on a vertically movable table in a lower chamber and flat base material plate 7 is placed on the jig 8. Firstly, an upper and a lower chambers B and A are evacuated with a vacuum pump 12 under the condition that valves 10 and 11 are opened. At the same time, functionality given sheet 1 is thermally softened with a panel heater 13 and adhesive is activated. Next, by sending compressed air to the upper chamber B with an air blasting pump 14 and lifting a table 9 under the condition that the valve 11 is closed and a valve 2 is opened, the functionality given sheet 1 is brought into close contact with the base material 7 and, at the same time, the functionality given sheet 1 and the base material are drawn to the exact form of the jig 8. Finally, by taking out the functionality given sheet 1 and the formed base material 7 and peeling off the transfer sheet, the functionality given three- dimensional formed article is obtained. |
