<p>PURPOSE:To obtain appropriate bookbinding design information and work caution information by providing a control device which controls the process to obtain bookbinding design information and work caution information using a database, access device based on specification information obtained from an input device and allow these information to be output to an output device. CONSTITUTION:It is interpreted whether or not a single factor which constitutes bookbinding information can be selected for a corresponding candidate by comparing specification information 10c with machine bookbinding regulation database 10a. If two or more candidates which can be selected are present, priority for each candidate is obtained based on the machine bookbinding regulation database 10a, and a candidate with the highest priority is selected. This candidate selection process is continued until all pieces of bookbinding information are completely by collected. Next, the specification information 10c is compared with the work caution database 10b at the same time, bookbinding design information is used for comparison to pick up required work caution items. Thus information required for bookbinding can be obtained without the extent of knowledge of an operator concerning bookbinding.</p> |
