<p>PURPOSE:To enable automatic setting by providing a means which automatically judges whether spread preparation or setting preparation in performed from input preparation information. CONSTITUTION:A storage device 2 is stored with JOB information and setting information which are inputted from a setting information input device 1 to enable an operation history to be updated. Namely, an operation end flag is provided on every spread and current operation is recognized by seeing the flag. A central processor 7 inspects the JOB information in the device 2 to confirm whether or not setting is necessary. When there is a spread flag for an operation expected item, a comment indicating that setting is necessary is sent back. When the setting is required, a member for the setting is retrieved and when the flag is set at the time of layout completion and at the time of ready for press, a setting process is performed. Information required for the setting is read out of the device 2 by the processor 7 and controlled and a setting means is patterned to automatically recognize temporary paging (temporary page).</p> |
