PURPOSE:To improve rigidity by compounding a specific crystalline PP resin with an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. crystalline PP resin having a melt flow rate (230 deg.C, 2.16kg load) of 0.1-100g/min and an isotactic index of 95% or higher is thermally mixed with 0.001-10 pts.wt. ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer having a degree of saponification of 90% or higher, a degree of polymn. of 1000-5000, and an ethylene content of 5-60mol% and a stabilizer at the m.p. of the PP resin or higher. |
