发明名称 FUEL CELL POWER GENERATING SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To make a power storage device smaller in size and higher in performance, and increase operation efficiency by way of rated operation of a fuel cell by combining a fused carbonate fuel cell with a secondary battery operating at a high temperature and using them. CONSTITUTION:An inverter 23 is connected to a secondary battery 20 via a thyrister switch 21 for charging and a reverse current preventing diode 22, and further a fused carbonate fuel cell body 1 is connected to the inverter 23 via reverse current preventing diode 24. The fuel cell 1 is made to continue rated operation, and its exhaust gas is used for driving a gas turbine 3, and then is led to the secondary battery 20, and the activated condition of the secondary battery 20 is maintained by this gas. When the load of the inverter 23 becomes light owing to the decline of power demand and the terminal voltage of the fuel cell 1 increases, the secondary battery 20 is charged by closing the thyrister switch 21. Thereby the effective operation of the fuel cell becomes possible by discharging from the secondary battery during steep power demand or peak power load time.
