MANUFACTURE OF PROCESSED FRUIT CONTAINER

PURPOSE:To maintain high freshness of fruits and provide a container having high transparency by putting processed fruits in a packing container produced by applying solid-phase pressure forming to stacked material of specific material, tightly closing it with a cover material and pressurizing the container through pressure medium in a pressurizing device. CONSTITUTION:Fruits 4 are put in a packing container 2 which is produced by solid-phase pressure forming of stacked material of polypropylene/ ethylene.vinylalcohol copolymer/polypropylene. A jelly liquid 5 prepared by dissolving jelly component and sugar into water by heat is filled into the container 2 having fruits therein. A cover material 3 is put on the container 2 to seal it. Heat sealing of the container 2 and the material 3 is performed by thermally melting flanges 2b and 3a to form a fruit jelly container 1. The container 1 is subjected to high pressure bactericide treatment in a pressurized and heated medium. Said treatment is performed through the flexible cover material 3. The material 3 protrudes inwardly as the volume of contents decreases. When the pressure in the container 1 is released by reducing the internal pressure to atmospheric pressure, the material 3 restores its original shape.
