The invention relates to roller skates whose rollers are: either in lines or staggered with points of contact on the ground over a narrow band. A main roller at the front includes an incorporated free wheel making it possible to block the rear movement. The contact line forms a large curve. A model which includes, as a variant, a rear main wheel with a free wheel acting in the opposite direction from the front free wheel is provided.
