<p>PURPOSE:To provide a dehumidifying apparatus having simple and effective constitution. CONSTITUTION:In a dehumidifying apparatus, a high-molecular substance having deliquescence is added to a gel-like high-molecular electrolyte having a porous three-dimensional shape and rapidly and reversibly contracted by the application of DC voltage and the resulting composition is arranged between opposed electrodes to be expanded by moisture absorption and, thereafter, operation such that DC voltage is applied across the electrodes to mechanically contract the high-molecular electrolyte and absorbed water is discharged is repeated.</p> |
