Box with a trigger-type grip for receiving used hypodermic needles and bistoury blades. The invention relates to a device for receiving used hypodermic needles and bistoury blades without risk of injury. It consists of a receptacle box (1) having, in a protective depression (5), a needle orifice (6) and a blade orifice (7). A trigger-type grip (2) with a spring is articulated on the box (1) via two clip studs (17 and 18) which serve as a rotation pin. By pressing on the grip (2), it is possible to release the orifices (6 and 7) by means of a sliding of the plate (9) and then to lock the introduced needles or blades in order to unscrew them (6) or tear them off (7); they drop into the receptacle (1). When the grip (2) is released, the spring returns it to the initial position, and the plate (9) seals the orifices (6-7). A pre-cut tongue (23) in the grip (2) makes it possible, after use, to block the movement of the grip (2) and the orifices 6 and 7, by embedding itself in the box (1). <IMAGE>
