<p>In a valve base plate 1, the inlets of a plurality of electromagnetically operated valves 6 are supplied with pressurized fluid via a common duct 11, while the valve outlets communicate with respective outlet connections 17, all in the same edge of the plate, and with respective pressure sensors 16. The electrical connection lines of the electromagnets of the valves and the pressure sensors are carried by a central signal connection 12.
