This device is used in production lines for drying and calibrating corn in the mill and forage industry, and other industrial sectors. It has a simple scheme and is highly reliable, while its servicing and exploitation are simple. The device consists of a pick-up (1), located in the beginning of the production line and is connected via middle relay (2) to a time relay (3). The latter is connected consecutively to the first of n consecutively connected programmable relays (4 and 4') (where n is greater than or equal to 1). The outlets of the programmable relays are connected to the operative chains of the respective groups of power engines (B and B') from the production line, subject to the idle-running switching off. The switching off of the power engines is done consecutively in a certain order, following a pre-set temporary program, which consists of preliminary determination of the time for switching off of each power engine.
