PURPOSE:To provide high speed stability and steering performance corresponding to human operating feelings by controlling the transient response of a side-slip angle and a yaw rate in a vehicle into the desired value. CONSTITUTION:The yaw rate of a vehicle is detected by a yaw rate detecting device 4, and the side-slip angle of the vehicle is detected by a side-slip angle detecting device 3. A time delay controller 1 computes the target loci of both yaw rate and side-slip angle according to the steering wheel steering angle and the vehicle speed, and both yaw rate and side-slip angle are controlled in such a way as to coincide with the target locus. |
