PURPOSE:To continue the operation after reloading a power source battery by executing continuously two times write of a write start signal and the number of photographable pieces at the time of updating the number of photographable pieces of a camera, and thereafter, erasing the write start signal, and controlling read-out in accordance with the write start signal exists or not at the time of read-out of the number of photographable pieces. CONSTITUTION:After winding one frame of a film, the number of photographable pieces is written in an E<2>PROM 9. In this case, a first write start signal, write data, a second write start signal, and write data are written in a first address A1, a second address A2, a third address A3, and a fourth address A4, respectively. Subsequently, a second write start signal, and next, a first write start signal are erased. At the time of read-out from the E<2>PROM 9, unless a first and a second write start signals exist together, data of one of the addresses A2, A4 is read out. When the write start signals exist together, the data of the address A4 is read out. |
