PURPOSE:To obtain a transformant of dihydrofolate reductase-deficient Chinese.hamster ovary cell capable of carrying out proliferation and subculture in a serum-free culture medium. CONSTITUTION:A dihydrofolate reductase-deficient Chinese.hamster ovary cell is transformed and then cultured in a serum-free culture medium (GCM001 culture medium) to afford a transformant capable of carrying out proliferation and subculture in a serum-free culture medium.
