The invention concerns the production of articulated armatures for seats with adjustable backs, in particular for motor vehicles, and with excentric planetary gears whose rotating bodies are formed by an extrusion process and permit adjustment and locking of the inclination. To incorporate these features, while ensuring functional reliability and safety with regard to load-carrying capacity even in a crash, and economy in design, the teeth of the outer and inner gearings (35, 36) are bound laterally by thick material ring regions (27, 61) which prevent peaks of stress. In addition, in order to ensure good meshing of the gearings, the rotating bodies (10, 11) are mounted on the axis (13) in a way which counteracts overturning, the bearing surfaces having extensions in the form of hubs (14, 15), and the bearing surfaces of both rotating bodies (10, 11) being situated equidistantly from the centre (31) of the outer and inner gearings (35, 36). |
