PURPOSE:To obtain a resin-bonded magnet at a low cost by a method wherein resin-bonded magnet magnetic powder which has a high fluidity and can have anisotropy is employed. CONSTITUTION:Solid epoxy resin is dissolved in organic solvent and added to magnetic powder having magnetic anisotropy and the solvent is volatilized and removed. As the obtained powder is aggromerated (secondary particle state) by the deposition of the solid epoxy, the powder is ground into particles whose average diameter is not larger than 40mum. The powder obtained by the grinding has a high fluidity and, further, can be oriented by an external magnetic field, so that an anisotropic resin-bonded magnet can be molded with a high speed and its cost can be reduced. |
