The supply air temp. is controlled by a computer which determines the temp., using a three-dimensional graph for each case. The three characteristic axes represent the rate of flow of the heating air, the temp. of the heating air and the external temp. The diagram enables the rate of heat loss from the room to be calculated by multiplying the difference between the air supply temp. and return flow temp. of the heating air by the rate of flow of the heating air.
