This box is of the type made from a single blank (2) provided with grooving lines and with cut-out lines. According to the invention, it comprises a rectangular bottom (5) delimited by four grooving lines (4), two longitudinal fold-down flaps (6) each having a substantially circular shape, two side flaps (8-9), namely a front flap (8) being generally U-shaped and whose core (8a) is joined to the bottom of the box by a grooving line (3) and whose wings (8b) frame a central cut-out and constitute holding belts, and another flap (9) comprising two parallel transverse cut-out lines delimiting a central lid (16) capable of penetrating into the cut-out of the other side flap (8), and two wings (9b) forming belts and capable of being capped by those (8b) of the other flap (8), means (7-19) of locking by a latching engagement of each of the belts (8b-9b) of the side flaps (8-9) on the edge of the erected longitudinal flaps (6), means (13-20) of hooking the wings (8b) of the side flap (8) onto the other flap (9) and means (14-18) of hooking the lid on the core (8a) of the side flap (8). <IMAGE>
