INSECTICIDAL AND FUNGICIDAL PROCESS WITH ULTRASONIC PUMP

PURPOSE:To enable the insecticidal and fungicidal treatment of a wide space such as home and restaurant in high efficiency by dissolving insecticide, etc., in an organic solvent and atomizing the obtained pesticide solution with an ultrasonic pump to dissipate the pesticide in air. CONSTITUTION:A pesticide solution is produced e.g. by dissolving an insecticide and/or a fungicide such as allethrin [3-allyl-methylcyclopenta-2-en-4-on-1-yl d1-cis/ trans-chrysanthemate] in an organic solvent having a viscosity of 0.1-10 cp (at 20 deg.C) and a boiling point of 50-330 deg.C (e.g. methanol or hexane). The solution is atomized and dissipated in air with an ultrasonic pump to effect the insecticidal or fungicidal treatment.
