The holder consists of two parts, a ball, and a device set into the ball, to fasten the parasol stem in the ball. It also has a locking/fastening screw, and a nut. The holder parts have a semi-spherical recess, to engage around the ball. The parasol is fastened, so that it can be tilted to all sides through approx. 45 degrees. The semi-spherical recess is opened out on one side, so that the parasol can be tilted on this side through 90 degrees, to be horizontal. The two holder parts have a bore under the recess, for the locking/fastening screw. ADVANTAGE - Parasol is freely movable to all sides, and lockable in all positions.
