Date Jul. 19, 1984.In a closure cap (1) of thermoplastic material, produced by an injection moulding process, the guarantee strip (2) which is formed integrally thereon is provided, at the lower edge (2) of the closure cap, on the outside (6), with a reinforcement portion (5) which is disposed between two desired-rupture connecting web portions (3). Besides the advantages, which are already known, of a reinforcement portion on the guarantee strip, the reinforcement portion according to the invention serves as a support for bearing against the moulding tool in order to prevent stretching of the connecting web portions (3) or deformation of the guarantee strip (2) when the cap is removed from the mould. |
