<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device for detecting and refraining even comparatively small variation of tension and preventing tension control systems of plural stands from interfering and oscillating. CONSTITUTION:The tension control systems for correcting draft positions in response to detected tension deviations are provided. A tension control system having a blind sector and a tension control system having no blind sector are arranged alternately. Since the change of downstream tension by correcting rolling down of the latter is within the range of blind sector of the former, the former does not respond to the change and no interference is generated between the stands. Even small tension deviation is corrected by the latter control system.</p> |
