<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for nonmagnetic one-component development by which a good developer thin layer is formed on a developer carrying member even when developing is continued for a long period, and no melt sticking of the developer is caused on a regulating member for a developer layer thickness or a developer carrying member. CONSTITUTION:In the method for contact type system nonmagnetic one- component development, the developer used is a nonmagnetic one-component developer consisting of toner particles essentially comprising a binder resin and a colorant and additive fine particles deposited on the surface of toner particles. The toner particles are electrified in negative polarity, while the additive fine particles are electrified in positive polarity. These additive fine particles are deposited by 0.05-3 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the toner particles.</p> |
