WIRED BROADCASTING SYSTEM WITH OBSERVATION FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To allow a broadcasting station to apply remote supervision centralizingly to a fault location and a fault content or the like for a transmission and an amplifier in a wired broadcasting system. CONSTITUTION:The transmission line 3 of a bidirectional communication wired broadcasting system is provided with an observation unit 5 observing the cable characteristic of the transmission line 3 and the characteristic of a bidirectional amplifier 4 provided on the transmission line 3 or the like. The broadcasting station 1 is provided with a controller 6 which designates a desired observation unit 5 among the observation unit 5 to allow the observation unit 5 to observe the characteristic and which receives an observation signal sent from the observation unit 5. Also in the case of the wired broadcasting system for unidirectional communication, an incoming amplifier the observation signal returned to the controller 6 is provided on a proper position of the transmission line 3.
