<p>PURPOSE:To easily perform tuning work by displaying string number of an open string in accordance with the pitch of a played open string, and recognizing whether or not a range is set within the one where the reference pitch of the open string is set by changing the display mode of string number display. CONSTITUTION:Pitch data consisting of a pitch count value can be obtained by extracting the pitch of an input signal by the play of the open string of a string instrument inputted from an input part 22. Octave data can be acquired by retrieving to what octave the pitch data is equivalent by the pitch data and data in an octave table set on a ROM 14. The pitch data is octave-added to standardize the pitch data to the minimum octave, and minimum octave standardized data and pitch name data can be obtained. Thence, the string number is obtained by the pitch name data and the data in a string number table set on the ROM 14, and the still picture of the string number is displayed on the string number display part of a display part 20, and flash display is performed corresponding to deviation from basic pitch.</p> |
