Insulating material for blowing, based on glass wool, obtained by grinding a felt comprising a phenol-formaldehyde binder polymerised in an oven, in a proportion of between 1 and 4.5% of the total mass of the material, in which the glass fibres have a micron value of between 2.2 and 3.1 under 5 g and preferably of the order of 2.5 under 5 g, the mean weight of this insulating material deposited per square metre being lower than 1800 grams for a thermal resistance, expressed at 10@C, of 3 m<2> @C/W and lower than 2200 grams for a heat resistance, expressed at 10@C, of 4 m<2> @C/W. |
