a) Vehicle seat made up of a seat part shell (14), of a seat part support (13) and of a backrest (12) with adjustable inclination. b) In order to allow the rotation of the seat about its vertical axis whilst retaining the possibility for adjustment of the backrest in any position of rotation, a turntable (15) is located between the seat part support (13) and the seat part shell (14), the backrest (12) is connected with a device (41) for adjusting the inclination held on the shell (14), and an uncouplable coupling element (42, 58, 35) is located on the connection between the adjustment device (41) and the backrest (12) between the seat part support (13) and the shell (14) and on a coupling bar (34) which, for standing up the backrest in the position in which it is not being used, connects the backrest (12) with the underframe (16). c) The invention makes it possible to orientate the seat, for a courier, without losing the possibilities of inclination of the backrest and folding up the seat. <IMAGE>
