Battery pole mfr. using compression moulding technique - providing non-rotational bond between two non-ferrous or between ferrous and non-ferrous metal components

The battery pole mfr. uses a base component (14) and an auxiliary component (15), both made of a non-ferrous metal, or one made of a non-ferrous metal and the other made of iron or steel. Both components (14, 15) are formed from respective elements (4, 5) inserted in a mould (11) for a compression moulding device, used to form a non-rotational bond between the two moulded components (14, 15). Pref. the two basic elements (4, 5) inserted in the mould (11) are made of materials of different hardness, one of the elements pref. exhibiting a greater deformation than the other. ADVANTAGE - Relatively low electrical resistance across battery pole.
