PURPOSE:To provide a printing device excellent in handleability capable of automatically and symmetrically arranging a page frame about the center of a sheet in the page frame positioning processing of faced printing. CONSTITUTION:This printing device is provided with a sheet center finding part 12 for calculating the center position of '' stored in a bit map memory 4 for writing the contents of a page from printing sheet size inputted from an input part 11, a page frame forming part 13 for forming the page frame of inputted page frame size in the bit map memory 4 so that respective sides of the frame are vertically and horizontally adjacent around the sheet center position calculated by the detecting part 12 and outputting the sheet in the memory 4 and the image of the page frame, a page frame moving part 14 for moving the page frame formed in the memory by the forming part 13 in accordance with inputted page frame interval size and a page contents writing part 15 for writing a document to be the contents of a page to be printed in each page frame stored in the memory 4 which is determined by the moving part 14 in accordance with a faced printing format. |
