DOCUMENT PROCESSOR AND ITS PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To move inputted data to a specific area by simple operation and to easily execute editing work by automatically identifying the range of ground data hidden in an area by means of a range identifying part and automatically moving data included in the range. CONSTITUTION:The document processor is provided with the range identifying part 6 for identifying the range of ground data hidden in a formed area and a data moving part 5 for moving the ground data included in the identified range. The range recognizing part 6 recognizes the range of the ground data hidden in the area stored in an area management information storing part 4 from positional information and calculates the number of lines and the number of characters of the ground data included in the range. Whether the ground data in the range are stored in the area or not is judged based upon the calculated result. The judgment is executed by comparing the number of lines and the number of characters of the calculated ground data with that of the area stored in the storing part 4. Then the ground data in the range are moved to the area.
