PURPOSE:To prevent failure that a transfer material already ejected adheres to the transfer material to be ejected secondary from occurring by providing a means for cooling at leant one surface of the transfer material which has passed through a nip part. CONSTITUTION:While the transfer material where an unfixed toner image is formed is passing through the nip part, the toner image on a transfer material is heated and pressured to be melted and fixed on the transfer material. However, since temperature immediately after the transfer material passes through the nip part is higher than that at the time of advancing the nip part, the toner image on the transfer material is not perfectly coagulated and is in an unstable state. Then, ventilation by a cooling fan 41 is started and the transfer material is guided by a paper ejecting guide 39 to be fed toward paper ejecting rollers 40a and 40b. The transfer material and the toner image on the guide 39 are cooled with the air sent from the fan 41, and the toner image on the transfer material is coagulated. Therefore, the failure that the surface of the transfer material ejected on a paper ejecting tray 25 adheres to the back surface of the transfer material next to be ejected is not caused. |
