<p>PURPOSE:To check the operability and the operating specifications of the control panel part of a facsimile equipment before this panel part is completed by using a simulating device which simulates the operation of the control panel via a host computer. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 9 displays a control panel 2 of a facsimile equipment 1 on a display as a pseudo control panel 10. Then a communication interface device 8 is added. The computer 9 is provided with a means which sends the button information on the panel 10 to the equipment 1 and a means which shows the answer data received from the equipment 1 on the panel 10.</p> |
