PURPOSE:To easily change the size of each rectangle while keeping the alignment properties with respect to a square graphic consisting of plural grouped rectangles. CONSTITUTION:A main controller 11 registers the information on the pairs of aligned rectangular areas which are extracted by an aligned rectangle pair extracting means 184 during the editing processing applied to the groups into the aligned rectangle pair data 19. Then the controller 11 refers to the data 19 and displays the operating points on a display device 14 with use of a display means 15. Furthermore the controller 11 detects the position of the operating points moved by a user via an input device 12 with the use of an input detecting means 13 and changes each rectangle with use of a graphic changing means 182 and a group processing means 183. An editing operation can also be applied to an area including >=2 rectangles instead of the pairs of aligned rectangles.
