<p>PURPOSE:To provide a linear resistor having the resistance of 40 to 4000OMEGAcm, excellent linearity of volt-ampare characteristics, large switching surge resistivity of a circuit breaker, less fluctuation in resistance even when exposed to the high temperature of 500 deg.C or higher, and the resistance temperature coefficient ranging from -1X10<-3>/ deg.C to +4X10<-3>/ deg.C. CONSTITUTION:At least a kind selected from zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, yttrium oxide, gallium oxide and indium oxide is contained in the linear resistor, and a grain boundary layer, having the resistance lower than zinc oxide, is provided between the grains of zinc oxide.</p> |
