PURPOSE:To enhance the electrode performance as well as to reduce the contact resistance, by ensuring a state of dispersion of Ni particles constituting a fuel electrode of a solid electrolyte type fuel cell, preventing aggregation at the time of burning and power generation of the Ni particles or NiO particles, and making better the adhesion thereof with a solid electrolyte layer. CONSTITUTION:In order to form a fuel electrode on one surface of a solid electrolyte layer being a future center layer, a Ni powder body or NiO powder body is mixed with an organic solution of organic metal complex salt capable of producing a film or fine particles of a solid electrolyte through thermal decomposition. The solvent is agitated until the resulting solution has a moderate level of viscosity, and the obtained mixture slurry is coated onto the solid electrolyte layer being a future center layer. Subsequently, this coating layer is desiccated, burned, and thermally decomposed, thereby obtaining a composite material cermet of NiO-solid electrolyte, or Ni-solid electrolyte. |
