PURPOSE:To improve sensing performance by peripherally arranging resilient members prepared such that magnetic powder is mixed in a bearing seal and arranging a magnetic sensor in the vicinity of the resilient member. CONSTITUTION:A resilient member 2 prepared such that a material containing a magnetic powdery substance is vulcanized and adhered is formed to the radial part of a bearing seal 1, such as a slinger 1a, fixed on a rotary shaft. The resilient members 2 are peripherally baked and mounted at equal intervals or peripherally disposed, magnetic poles being alternately disposed. The resilient member 2 having magnetic nature is detected in the form of a pulse by means of a magnetic sensor 3 and rotation thereof is accurately detected. |
