PURPOSE:To provide a multilayer slide bearing having an overlay and improved in fatigue resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective bearing is a structural body obtd. by integrally laminating a back plate, a bearing alloy and a lead alloy overlay. The crystalline grains of the lead alloy overlay have a pyramidal shape in which their vertexes are faced to the mating sliding member side, and, each pyramidal crystalline grain placed on the outermost surface is provided with roundness. For imparting the roundness, the means of coating the surface of the lead alloy overlay with metal reducing the m.p. of lead and executing heating treatment are suitably adopted. As the metal (alloy) reducing the m.p. of lead, one or >=two kinds selected from Sn, In, Sb, Bi or the like are used. |
