<p>PURPOSE:To form clear and accurate latent image or generate accurate electric signal and make the whole device small in size by a device wherein a plurality of light receiving/emitting element arrays are mounted linearly on one main face of a plane transparent substrate such that their light receiving/emitting faces are on the side of the transparent substrate, and lenses are attached on the other main face through a transparent member whose refractive index is larger than that of air. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming device, for example, a plurality of light-emitting diode arrays 2 whose light-emitting faces are on a side of a transparent substrate 1 are mounted linearly on the bottom face of the transparent substrate 1 consisting of light transmitting and insulating material. On one face of the transparent substrate 1, opposite to the face on which the light-emitting diode arrays 2 are mounted, a plurality of lenses 3 are fixed so as to oppose each light-emitting diode array 2 through a transparent member 5. As the refractive index of the transparent member 5 is higher than that of air, even if the focus distance of the lens 3 is made to be longer to a certain extent corresponding to the distance between the lens 3 and a photosensitive body, the distance between the light-emitting diode array 2 and the lens 3 can be shortened by providing the transparent member 5 having high refractive index.</p> |
