The belt (1) is formed as a large compartmentalised buoyant pockets (7) and two hollow buoyant straps (2) each in a compartment (3) located in front of the belt. Each pocket compartment (3) possesses an opening/closing flap (4) at the bottom. The lead granule ballast is placed inside the hollow straps which widen towards the bottom aiding the fall of the ballast. The flap (4) is covered with a lift sign. A system of length adjustment (5) is placed in front of each strap and a system of front closing height adjustment (6) adapts the belt to different morphologies. The absence of ballast in the rear (8) of the belt allows passage of an air bottle. USE - Compensation of diver buoyancy by ballast to facilitate descent.
