Two parts (7, 9) made of plastic material and each provided with an identification code (21, 23) are to be welded. To this effect, means for implementing a welding program are associated to said machine, the program being implemented as a function of data read on the codes and defining, from a welding law or standard to be applied and also as a function of the thickness of the parts, values of parameters related to temperatures, welding duration and pressure to be respected, providing the codes (21, 23) of the parts are assumed to be compatible with each other. Application to the welding of tubes, particularly polyethylene pipes. |
