摘要 The suspension includes several transverse arms (1,2,3) having one end connected to a wheel (5) support (4) and the other end connected to a motor unit. The motor unit (6) has a three-point mounting (21,22,23) on the body (7), using rubber-bonded bushes. The half-shaft (1), connected through universal joints (8), emerges centrally, with the wishbone (3) hinged just below, supporting the suspension coil spring (11) and damper (12), whose upper ends are mounted in the body. Toe-in is controlled by a transverse link (2) mounted on horizontal pins (9,10) at the rear of the propulsion unit and hub mounting (4). The trailing arm (15) pivots on a body mounting (16). It controls the hub assembly by a clevis connection with hinge-pin axis passing through the tyre (5) footprint centre (C). An anti-roll bar (18) may optionally be added. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for electric vehicles. Effective wheel control at reasonable cost.
