<p>It is proposed for a both mechanically and electronically coded lock a flat key having a flat basic moulding (11) which consists of metal and which forms in one part a shank portion (9) and a grip portion (13). A board (23) fitted with components (25) of an electronic circuit is arranged in a recess (21) located in the grip portion and formed by an integral bottom (19) of the basic moulding (11) and is sealed off by means of a sealing compound (29). Arranged on opposite flat sides of the grip portion (13) are housing shells (15, 17) which surround the grip portion (13) essentially completely. The housing shell (15) located above the recess (21) is glued to the grip portion (13) by means of an adhesive seam sealingly surrounding the recess (21). The other housing shell (17) carries a rib (43) which is U-shaped, as seen in a top view of the flat side, and by means of which it engages behind the glued-on housing shell (15). A hollow rivet (15), passing through both the housing shells (15, 17) and the grip portion (13), fixes the housing shell (17), attachable onto the glued-on housing shell (15) in the longitudinal direction of the shank, permanently to the basic moulding (11) and, at the same time, protects the key-ring hole. For receiving a labelling plate (57), there is provided in the glued-on housing shell (15) a dovetailed groove (55) which is open towards the edges of the latter and the open end faces of which are closed by the rib (43) of the other housing shell (17). …<IMAGE>… </p> |
