<p>PURPOSE:To provide a self-diagnosis function by fixing an infrared ray emitting element at a position allowing emission of infrared ray toward an infrared ray detector upon conduction. CONSTITUTION:When a pyroelectric infrared ray detector 5 performs self- diagnosis, pseudo-signals for self-diagnosis are applied between pins 4a, 4b and 4c, 4d of a self-diagnosis fitting 1 and nichrome wires 3a, 3b are conducted. Consequently, the nichrome wires 3a, 3b are heated to emit infrared rays. The infrared rays pass through an infrared ray transmissive filter 7 and reaches an infrared ray detecting section 8 where infrared rays are detected. Heating of the nichrome wires 3a, 3b simulates a state where the detector 5 detects infrared rays from a human being and allows self-diagnosis.</p> |
